How do you create value?

  • You help create a smooth and reliable banking service for over 150,000 customers
  • You ensure a high-quality and highly available service to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • You participate as a member of an agile team in the design, implementation, testing, and management of the product

You are a true expert in the team when

  • Maintain Postgres database infrastructure in good shape
  • Improve scalability, availability and efficiency of database infrastructure
  • Provide feedback to product teams in terms of support and co-operation to improve availability and efficiency of business applications
  • Maintain technical documentation
  • Utilize best practices whenever possible, establish and follow procedures for critical activities
  • Handle service capacity planning, software performance analysis, and system tuning
  • Maintain the healthy lifecycle status of database infrastructure components
  • Drive the company through disaster recovery tests, where we manually turn down pieces of infrastructure to test our systems overall resiliency to failures

Our expectations for you

  • You have knowledge and understanding of RDBMS concepts and architecture in general
  • You have at least 3 years of DBA experience in production environments
  • You are a creative problem solver with strong analytical thinking
  • You have proven experience in PostgreSQL database administration
  • You have experience with running databases in clustered environments like LXD
  • You can freely communicate in English (verbal and written)
  • MySQL and/or MongoDB handling is an advantage
  • University degree is an advantage
