What you‘ll be doing
- Providing a high quality in-house legal service that effectively supports management of Bigbank AS Lithuanian Branch and Corporate Banking Area in their duty to comply with relevant laws and regulations and internal procedures.
- Ensuring the compliance of the Lithuanian Branch activities, products, services and legal documentation with applicable legislation and internal regulations.
- Supporting the drafting and conclusion of transactions and contracts with legal advice.
- Conducting planned and ad hoc training in the field of applicable law and internal regulations.
- Supporting Lithuanian Branch in the development of products and services.
What do we expect from you
- At least 2 years of legal work experience related to financial sector, which includes legal advising and drafting legal documentation.
- Preferably, previous work experience in preparing Corporate Banking product agreements or other financing contracts and in executing notarial transactions.
- University or equivalent degree in Law (at least a Bachelor's degree, a Master's or higher degree may be advantage).
- High-level proficiency in Lithuanian and English (C1).
- Very good knowledge of Corporate Banking products, Contract Law, Property Law and generally of Private Law.
- Independence in work, strong analytical skills, and ability to forecast outcomes.
- Ability to present information accurately, timely, and clearly, as well as to provide feedback to parties involved.
