HR Volunteer of the year - Gerly Roosmets!

We’re proud that our Employee Experience Manager Gerly Roosmets was recognised for her outstanding contributions as an HR volunteer. She’s actively involved in different NGOs like ESAL, HR Selts, and PARE, passionately advocating for financial ambassadors and driving green initiatives within Bigbank. Gerly is also committed to mental health projects and employee well-being, working closely with Confido and Stebby. Additionally, she collaborates with universities on various projects.

Her dedication has been recognized by Eesti HR Selts (Estonian HR Society), honoring her impactful work.

It is part of Bigbank's HR Strategy to develop excellent leaders. Our excellent leadership should be felt and recognized both inside our company as well as outside. We are very happy to see Gerly reflecting Bigbank values through her actions, being an amazing Bigbank ambassador in different organizations.

Receiving this award has been an incredibly humbling and emotional experience for me. I am filled with gratitude, joy, and motivation to continue making a positive impact. It is a tremendous honor to be recognized for something that I am so passionate about—creating meaningful employee experiences and driving positive change.

Every day, I strive to create an employee experience that gives a strategic competitive advantage to our company. Recently, I’ve been deeply involved in leadership and talent management, ESG initiatives, green office advocacy, family-friendly employer initiatives, employer branding, and supporting mental health. A personal passion of mine is sharing financial literacy and 'money wisdom' to empower everyone to make smarter financial decisions.

One exciting highlight is mentoring a talented young individual as a TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology alumni. It’s incredibly rewarding to support the next generation of leaders.
This recognition fuels my passion even further, and I am excited for the opportunities ahead. If my journey inspires even one person, that would be a true reward. Let’s keep pushing boundaries and making a difference together!
