What you'll be doing

  • Support decision making in credit risk management through development and maintain credit risk data mart for further predictive, descriptive and prescriptive decision-making models and data analysis on all markets.
  • To support credit risk area and bank with SQL based data acquisition, data analysis and consultation on all markets.

How will you spend your day

  • Maintaining credit risk modelling related data mart.
  • Monthly data loading from banks’ DWH to data mart.
  • Assuring high level of data quality of data mart in continuous basis.
  • Development of data mart (with co-operation of the banks’ DWH team): developing and enhancing database analytical functions, data structures, stored procedures; implementing and automation of data extracting, transforming, loading (ETL) for data mart; implementing Data Quality assurance procedures (with SQL and in future with machine learning); continuous data enrichment of data mart using both internal and external data sources; performance enhancement of data mart.
  • Consulting credit risk modelling team regarding SQL language if needed, preparing data sets for ad-hoc analysis.
  • Participating in the internal projects and ad-hoc tasks related to extracting new knowledge from data both for credit risk management purposes and other areas on demand (incl marketing, sales).

You'll be successful if

  • You have 2+ years experience with larger datasets and databases (including PostgreSQL), Python language and MS Excel.
  • Having good experience with statistical programming tool – R, BI tools (like Tableau), ETL process and machine learning would be a high bonus.
  • You have degree in mathematics, statistics or in computer science.
  • Business mind-set and ability to link one’s work with organization overall objectives and performance of the organization.
  • Advanced level of English.
  • Excellent computer skills, internal will to try and use new technology and tools.
  • You can work with several projects in parallel.
  • You are ambitious with an internal drive for excellence and constantly improving yourself.
